Purpose
Black Atlantic Radio Station (BARS) endeavors to represent and embody the beauty and core principles of Black music and culture globally. Spanning the world wide web and sonic airwaves of the African soundscape, BARS brings the essence of the modern, culturally hybridized art that is Black Music. As such, BARS knows no genre, no singular form. Rather, BARS aims to be your one-stop shop of a synchronically linked Black or Afro-diaspora. Cutting edge Roots music, rap, rock, reggae and jazz abound alongside the latest news, culture and history podcasts and reports. So join us, each and every day and night, 24 hours non-stop across the clock, as Black Atlantic Radio Station brings you the standard.
WHAT ARE WE?
Black Atlantic Radio Station (BARS) is a multilevel audio platform. Going beyond the carefree, directionless content encouraged through social media, BARS provides its content creators, patrons and listeners with a focused and curated product intended for an astute, target audience. BARS serves the global Black diaspora. As such, all entertainment, news and discussion is organically tailored and attenuated to promote dialogue and exchange between people from across the Atlantic.
